The magnifying feature on the iPhone has been well known, however Apple significantly improved this feature. The improved glass cover is made from materials used in helicopters and high-speed trains. It is chemically strengthened to be harder, more scratch resistant and durable than ever. Another improved feature is the oil-resistant coating, which helps keep the screen clean.
The LED backlighting and an ambient light sensor intelligently adjusts the brightness of the screen for optimal viewing a battery life. When you lift your 4S to your ear to answer a phone call, the sensors will automatically turn off the display to save power and accidental dialing.
